In her lively and touching debut film, Lakshmipriya Devi accompanies the schoolboy Boong as he overcomes borders and ethnic disputes in Manipur to reunite his family. Boong (*a young boy) wants to surprise his tough and caring mother with a gift. In his innocence, he believes that the return of his absent father would be the best present for her. Together with his best friend Raju Agarwal, Boong secretly travels to the border town of Moreh Myanmar to track down his father Joykumar. Boong's search for his father turns his world upside down, but culminates in an unexpected gift.
