Aise Hee – Just Like That
Mrs. Sharma lives in the outskirts of Allahabad. After the death of her husband, she is expected to fill the role of a respectable old woman and to provide financial support for her son and his family. But Mrs. Sharma has other plans.
For the first time in her life, she has a cosmetic treatment; she enjoys an ice cream in a shopping mall, goes to the movies, learns embroidery and makes new friends. She opens her own bank account to preserve her financial independence - much to the annoyance of her son, a struggling freelance radio reporter. The family puts Mrs. Sharma under massive pressure, even considering exorcism to drive out her selfishness. But quietly and steadily she goes on to improve her life.
