The "Little Jaffna" district of Paris is the heart of the vibrant Tamil community. There, young policeman Michael is said to be infiltrating the criminal gang "Killiz", known for extortion and money laundering for the benefit of separatist rebels in Sri Lanka. As he penetrates deeper into the center of the organization, he discovers a side of himself that was hitherto hidden from him. Living with his caring grandmother in a Paris suburb is the pole of peace for his dangerous mission. But Michael’s loyalty is increasingly being tested in a relentless chase for one of Paris’s most hidden and powerful gangs.
The gripping thriller “Little Jaffna” is the debut feature film by director Lawrence Valin, who is also starring as Michael.
